Starting on 01.01.2025, we are looking for a Project Coordinator for the Marzahn-Hellersdorf Community Center for Ukrainian and Russian-speaking LGBTIQ refugees*
in a part-time role (50% position), initially limited until 31.12.2025.
Location: Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Berlin
To expand our activities in Marzahn-Hellersdorf and support the community of Ukrainian and Russian-speaking LGBTIQ* refugees in the district, we are seeking a project coordinator. The position is initially limited until the end of 2025, with the possibility of extension.
Your Responsibilities:
- Establishing contact and activating the local community of Ukrainian and Russian-speaking LGBTIQ* refugees
- Coordinating volunteers
- Providing initial crisis counseling and needs assessment
- Designing and organizing tailored programs
- Networking with LGBTIQ* and migrant organizations in the district
- Public relations, advocating for the LGBTIQ* community in district politics, attending meetings with local politicians
- Office management
Your Profile:
- Relevant professional experience in project management or psychosocial counseling
- Independent working style
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enjoyment of working with people
- Russian or Ukrainian language skills, as well as good German skills
- Residency in Marzahn-Hellersdorf preferred
